Service Technician Maintenance and Repair
Responsibilities:
 
Field cusotmer service support which also will include estimating, cleaning and repairing pumps, assisting with technical questions when necessary, reading and interpreting technical documents and conducting service activities according to company procedures ensuring all service repairs and activities are completed to high quality standards in a safe and clean working environment in the most efficient manner possible.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Be the service "face" of the company - professional, pleasant and positive!
  • All aspects involved with repairing pumps ( tear down & estimating, cleaning, assembling, testing, painting, and crating).
  • Follow documented and approved procedures.
  • Evaluate warranty claims.
  • Provide assistance and technical help when necessary.
  • Uphold all safety practices and procedures as outlined in our safety manuals.
  • Maintain all tools and workshop equipment as needed.
  • Provide internal and external customer support.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Operate a forklift/pallet jack.
Requirements:
  • Ability to perform standard mathematical calculations
  • Electrical experience with single and three phase control panels preferred but not essential
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Good computer skills with experience using MS Office.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Qualifications, Training and Experience:
  • AA degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training or combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using the following tools preferred: micrometers, calipers, dial indicator, torque wrench, depth gauge, vacuum/pressure gauge, amp meter and temperature gun (IR gun).
